(Kitco News) - Comex gold futures prices are higher in early U.S. trading Friday, on short covering and an upside technical bounce following recent selling pressure. A lower U.S. dollar index Friday is a bullish daily "outside market" force for the precious metals markets. It's a quieter, post-holiday trading atmosphere Friday (the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday was Thursday) and several markets, including Comex futures, close early.
